Words are clumsy pretenders
of the images of my mind. I see within me a reflection of beauty around and of balance push and pull of dark and light wrong and right soft gentle against the harsh rock horizon. The pastel evening sky slips quietly through the changes of dusk and the misty curtains slide apart to bring to us the eternity of the universe. Humble are we perceivers of this immensity yet it fits inside our heads open your eyes to the universe and your ears to the music of the patterns. Open your self to the shift in forms the constancy of change and musical re-arrange. Grow with the light of dawn and again with the fire of dusk for we touch the universe with our very skin tingling with life in this sweet-air lifting our hair and freeing our troubles leaving transparent & glowing bubbles. The shadows flicker and disappear. The shells of experience build within us the strength and wisdom to flow with the rhythm of constant change in a state of growing clarity growing childness for the children are close to the passage of mystery that keeps the circle moving when we surrender careless and free upon the wings of faith to the constancy of change and musical re-arrange. Fly little bird, fly suffer baby, suffer but… touch gently the beauty around you and drink through your fingertips and swallow the heavens with your eyes till the starlight fills your darkest corner and you may see the beauty in the pain of life. For from pain is born joy and from darkness comes light, shining and tinkling in the forest after rain dust dissolving into fertile soil. The seeds spring to life and dance to the sun knowing their changes and times of shift to blossom, to die, to be a flash of colour for one day – to answer the sun for one day.

As a practicing artist I have travelled far and wide across Australia, walked on country, camped on country and rolled out my swag. I thank the custodians and I acknowledge the traditional owners of country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, culture and community. I pay my respect to Elders past and present.
